  • 4 large sweet potatoes, preferably Garnet yams
Group: Honey Cinnamon Butter Mixture
  • 4 Tbsp. unsalted butter, melted
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • ¼ tsp. black pepper

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Wash and peel the sweet potatoes. Cut them into 1-inch cubes.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together the melted butter, honey, cinnamon, salt, and pepper until well blended and glossy.
  4. Toss the sweet potato cubes in the honey-butter mixture until every piece is well-coated.
  5. Spread the sweet potatoes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for about 30-35 minutes, stirring halfway through.
  6. Transfer the roasted sweet potatoes to a serving dish and drizzle any remaining honey-butter mixture on top.

Notes

Ensure sweet potatoes are cut evenly to avoid uneven cooking. Stir halfway for best results.
