Method
- Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with non-stick spray for easy removal once baked.
- In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the butter slowly. Remove from heat and stir in the sugar until glossy and thick.
- Let the butter-sugar mixture cool slightly before whisking in the eggs one at a time. Add the vanilla extract, creating a smooth batter.
- Sift together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt in a separate bowl. Gradually fold this dry mixture into the wet ingredients.
- Gently fold in the chopped Snickers bars and chocolate chips into the batter.
- Pour the batter into the prepared dish, spreading it evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the center has a slight jiggle and a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- While the brownies cool, melt the peanut butter and drizzle it over the top of the warm brownies. Sprinkle with mini marshmallows.
- Allow the brownies to cool completely before slicing. For a touch of elegance, sprinkle extra chopped Snickers on top before serving.
Notes
Common mistakes include not letting the butter cool and over-mixing the batter, which can lead to dense brownies. Using parchment paper ensures easy removal.
