- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, whisked egg, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and a sprinkle of salt and pepper. Shape into meatballs and place on a lined baking sheet.
- Drizzle olive oil over meatballs and bake for about 20 minutes, or until browned.
- While meatballs are baking, cook spaghetti in salted water until al dente, then mix with marinara sauce.
- In a baking dish, layer half the spaghetti mixture, followed by meatballs. Top with remaining spaghetti and cover with mozzarella cheese and Parmesan.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Make sure the pasta is al dente before mixing with the sauce to avoid mushiness during baking.
