  • ½ tsp. baking soda
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • powdered sugar for dusting

Method
 

  1. Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-5 minutes.
  2. Add egg, lemon juice, and lemon zest to the mixture and whisk until smooth.
  3. Sift together flour, baking soda, and salt, then fold in lavender buds.
  4. Slowly add dry ingredients to wet mixture and mix until just combined.
  5. Wrap dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  6. Preheat oven to 350°F and bake cookies for 10-12 minutes until golden.
  7. Dust cooled cookies with powdered sugar and serve.
