Delicious Sweet and Spicy Chicken Wings

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken wings

  • 1 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. Sriracha Adjust according to heat preference
  • 2 Tbsp. honey
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. onion powder
  • salt and pepper To taste

Equipment

  • Baking sheet Lined with aluminum foil
  • Wire rack
  • Medium-sized mixing bowl
  • Meat thermometer

Method
 

  1. Pat chicken wings dry with paper towels and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. In a medium-sized mixing bowl, whisk together sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, Sriracha, honey, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. Pour the sauce over the chicken wings and toss until fully coated. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to 1 hour.
  4. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top. Arrange wings in a single layer on the rack and bake for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  5. In the last 5 minutes of baking, brush with leftover sauce for extra flavor.
  6. Remove from oven, garnish with green onions and sesame seeds, and serve hot.

Notes

Ensure wings are cooked to an internal temperature of 165°F for safety.
