- Line your slow cooker with a non-stick liner or lightly grease it.
- In a medium-sized bowl, mix together brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and salt.
- Add the raw pecan halves and drizzle melted butter and vanilla extract over them. Fold gently to coat.
- Transfer mixture to slow cooker, cover, and cook on low for 2.5 to 3 hours, stirring every 30 minutes.
- Pour pecans onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and allow to cool completely.
