Method
- Slice fresh mozzarella and tomatoes into thick pieces.
- Drizzle olive oil on one side of a slice of bread, then layer mozzarella, basil, and tomatoes. Season with salt and pepper.
- Drizzle balsamic glaze over the tomatoes and top with another slice of bread, olive oil side down.
- Optionally grill the sandwich in a skillet over medium heat for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden and the cheese melts.
- Slice in half, serve, and enjoy with extra balsamic glaze on the side.
